Confessions of a Book Lover ❤️📖

Loving books started for me every since I was younger. Friends and family members used to call me a “nerd” or “bookworm”. I paid them no attention cause nothing could stop me from loving to read. My first collection of books were the Junie B. Jones series by Barbara Park. I blame my elementary school teachers for hooking me on those books lol.

Every time when I went to the store with my mom. I always beg her to buy me a new book. It feels so good to buy a fresh book from the store. I will literally spend hours searching for the “perfect” book before I make a purchase. The title, book cover, or the book description helps me decide if I want to buy it or not. I’m always determined to leave out the store with a good novel. Anyone that’s a book lover like me would understand.

Currently, as a young adult, I still have the same feelings towards books. Whenever I have extra money to buy one I go straight to the book section in the store. Usually, I go to Wal-Mart or Barnes and Noble. I used to go to Books-a-Million since they weren’t as expensive as Barnes and Noble but it’s been awhile since I went there. Wal-Mart may not have a huge variety of books like the other two stores but their prices are way cheaper. So, most of the time I will try checking out what books they have before I go into my other two favorite bookstores.

This is random, but I’ll rather read a print version of a book instead of the kindle version. Reading books from a tablet is cool and all, but let’s face it. It’s nothing like the old-fashioned way of reading books. I love the feeling of a thick chapter book in my hand. It’s more to read and I get add it to my bookshelf.

Anyways, books are the greatest creation that was ever made. I couldn’t imagine myself living in a world without any books. Some of the knowledge I have today comes from books I have read. Shoutout to my mom for feeding my book habit before I was able to buy books with my own money lol!

Des Blog-a-thon

Hey, bloggers, I wanted to tell everyone some exciting news. I will be doing a Des blog-a-thon for my readers. I’ll be starting it today. It’s an idea I thought about today and I know y’all will probably enjoy it. I’m not for sure if any other bloggers tried this before. If you are wondering what Des blog-a-thon is basically I will be doing back to back blog posts from me every day of the week until the end of next month (May). I’ll try to do 4 posts a day for my readers. This will be a challenge for me, but my readers deserved to get more frequent posts from me. The only struggle is having writer’s block lol. That’s something most of us experience. Anyways if there are any topics my readers want me to blog about please comment. I will make sure I do the post and dedicate it to you also. By me dedicating the post to you it would be a good way to promote your blog through my posts. Have a nice day!

Have Confidence in Your Blog

I know how it’s easy to get discouraged when you see other blogs that might look more eye-catching than yours or have better writing content. Comparing yourself to others is never a good idea. So, what I want you to do is remember that you’re special and as long as you write about what you’re passionate about don’t over think anything. There will be an audience of people who will love your content without you having to get out of your comfort zone. I want you to have confidence in your blogging career or hobby. Don’t let negative thoughts ruin what you enjoy.  Just because you don’t have a lot of followers as another blog doesn’t mean your content isn’t good. Keep on posting on your blog and eventually, people will start to notice you more. I know this from experience so trust me. I don’t want to drag out this post too long. I hope this gave you the motivation to continue to keep blogging without getting discouraged.

Things to do when you’re sad 😭

Watch funny videos on YouTube

If you watch YouTube videos on the regular you probably have some favorite YouTubers of yours that know how to make to laugh. Binge watch their videos. After a couple of videos, you should be laughing your butt off! Trust me it works.

Write out your feelings

Whether it’s on your social media page, on a piece of paper, or in a blog post writing out your feelings can relieve some emotion. This can be a good outlet.

Vent to someone

Talking to someone you trust and willing to listen to your problems is a blessing. It’s not easy to show your vulnerability to someone.  Saying what’s on your mind will help a whole lot. Especially if the person listens without judging you.

Listening to music

Putting on a playlist that you love can lighten up your mood. Even if it’s sad songs they are still pouring out your feelings. Music cures everything. Well at least in my opinion it does.

This post is just a quick read. Comment if you enjoyed this post!

Self Consious

Hoping no one brings up the features you despise the most about yourself

Not feeling attractive cause everyone else looks “better”

Looking in the mirror feeling disgusted

Wishing you didn’t see so many flaws in yourself

There goes that echo in your head “why me?”

Then comes the frustration and anger

That’s the effects of being self conscious…

I’m a Youtuber Now (:

First, before I start going deep into my post please go watch, comment, and like my Youtube videos. Don’t forget to subscribe if you want to see more of my videos. Here’s the link to my Youtube channel

I’m excited to tell my readers that I’M A YOUTUBER NOW!! I always wanted to be a YouTuber since a few years ago when I first started watching my favorite Youtuber LaToyaForever. She inspired me to start my Youtube journey. One thing I told myself before I started doing Youtube videos that I want a decent camera with good quality. A few years went by for me waiting to get the camera that I wanted. So, recently I was blessed to go out and buy me the camera that I wanted. I was so happy because I knew it was time for me to start doing what I dream of. I have noticed that some of the bloggers I follow already have a Youtube channel or just started one. It looks like we all are going through this journey together. Remember I just started my channel so I’ll be making a few changes soon. Also, my videos will get better over time. Thanks for reading!

I Pour Out My Real Feelings

I have always been a person that wasn’t ashamed to express how I feel. It’s just hard to find someone who understands complex thoughts. That part frustrates me completely. No one can ever make me feel bad for being myself. Growing up I already knew how to be my own individual instead of following what the other kids are doing. If you get to know me I have a dope personality. I’ll probably be the silliest, coolest, and understanding person you can meet. Sorry to brag about myself, I just wanted to get this off my chest. Anything you read on my blog connects to me like my personality, thoughts, and feelings. I like to pour my real feelings out so I can connect and relate to my readers. Thank you to everyone that takes the time to read my blog posts. It makes me feel confident, special, and happy because I put a lot of effort into my writing content for my blog. I don’t want to make this post too long. I hope everyone is enjoying their day!!
