Songs for Long Distance Relationships ( Des Blog-a-thon) #17

As a person being in a long distance relationship, it’s hard finding songs that relate to mine and others situation because we don’t see our boyfriend or girlfriend often. Don’t worry I handle this problem with listing some songs down below.  Dedicate these songs to your partner I know they will enjoy it!

Long Distance by Brandy: I fell in love with this song when I was younger. Little did I know I would be in a long distance relationship myself and understand what Brandy was singing about. There is a Bruno Mars version of this song, but I don’t like it at all. Brandy release her version of this song first though.

Hey There Delilah by Plain White Ts: Honestly, I didn’t realize this song was about a long distance relationship until later on in life. It’s a beautiful song. The melody of it sounds so sweet. I couldn’t imagine any other music artist to create a better version of this song.

Counting Down The Days by Natalie Imbruglia: Now this song right here will get you through the lonely moments because Natalie expresses explain how we feel in a LDR. I discovered this song today and I like it. This got added to my playlist.

No Air by Jordin Sparks ft Chris Brown: I scream my lungs out trying to hit Jordin Sparks high notes in this song lol. The verse down below hits me so hard.

“But how
Do you expect me, to live alone with just me?
‘Cause my world revolves around you
It’s so hard for me to breathe”

Please don’t lie and tell me you don’t feel this way about your boyfriend or girlfriend sometimes lol. It might sound dramatic, but when you’re in love you may say things like this right?

I Love You by Chris Brown and Ester: I know the sound of the song sounds like Spongebob theme song a little lol. I promise you this is a sweet song though. One night I dedicated this song to my boyfriend. He loved it!!

Whenever you get a chance share this playlist to your partner. Tell me which songs are your favorite. Do you and your soul mate have special songs dedicated to each other?

5 Break Up Songs That Will Never Get Old (Des Blog-a-thon #8)

Hello, bloggers, we all been through a break-up and we play certain songs that get us through it. If you are going through one or have experienced any type of break up these are 5 break up songs that will never get old on your playlist. Maybe you will see some songs that are new to you.

Irreplaceable – Beyoncé: Back in 2006 this was every girl anthem when they went through a breakup.  This is a song to tell your ex that you’re fed up with their bull crap and they can make the nearest exit out of your life. Let’s face it this is an addicting song. Think about how hard it is to find someone who tells you they don’t like this song. Beyoncé is the queen of good music.

Say Goodbye – Chris Brown: If you listen to this song, yeah you’ll get in your feelings because no one wants to leave out of a relationship with someone they love deeply. You only want to dedicate this song to someone if you want, to be honest, and tell them you are not happy in your relationship anymore. Chris Brown made it clear in the song that he still loves his girl, but they are growing apart. I have a love/hate relationship with the music video though cause he basically cheated on his loyal girlfriend. I respect that he was bold enough to confess to his girl that he doesn’t want her anymore.

Confessions Part 2 – Usher: This is another one of those songs where you’re ready to tell your boyfriend/girlfriend the truth. If I’m not mistaken the story of the song is based on a part of Usher’s life. Don’t quote me on it though.  You can tell Usher didn’t want to confess anything to his girlfriend, but he had no choice. This song stays on replay on my playlist.

Too Little too Late – Jojo: Jojo sang her heart out in this song. The music video for this song represented Jojo pain very well. I love music videos that give the perfect visualization of a singer lyrics. This is a song that will have you crying over and over because the lyrics are so real. It’s easy to relate to if you experience pain in a relationship.

Take a Bow – Rihanna: The music video for this song stayed on tv. This song was released a while after Rihanna’s breakup with Chris Brown, so you know everyone assumed she was talking about him. If you reached your breaking point dealing with lies and other petty problems then this is the right song for you. I love Rihanna short haircut in the video.

If you enjoyed this post I’ll do a part 2. Do you see any songs you’re familiar with? If so, which one is your favorite? Maybe one day these songs will be added to your breakup song playlist.
