Open Letter #4: Feeling Refresh and Creative Juices is Flowing

So, I took a step back from content creating and focus on relaxing a bit. If you read my last open letter I talked about taking a break from content creating and even social media. I was feeling drained and even overworked.  Since I spent less time on social media I feel better now. Sure if you follow me on social media you probably saw me post some things but if you pay attention closely I haven’t been active as much as I usually am.

Basically, I spent less time sitting on my phone focusing on what’s happening on social media. I tried to do a couple of things outside of the social media world. Doing things like reading, watching tv, and took advantage of going out more. The break was cool and all but I didn’t want to be away from my blog, podcast, and t-shirt store for too long. I didn’t want to start getting lazy again and slack on my goals for the future.

Writer’s Block Had Me Stuck

Then I got stuck in writer’s block which made me upset. Ugh, since writing is my first love it hurts me when my creative juices stop flowing. That’s the downfall of being a writer sometimes because you want to create new ideas for your writing but end up getting stuck in writer’s block. I’m the type of person that doesn’t like to force ideas on myself so I let everything flow like it’s supposed to.

Now I’m feeling like a brand new woman and ready to share more of my craft to the world. Sometimes it is necessary to take a break from everything to get yourself back on track. Don’t ever feel bad for putting yourself first. Self-care is important. Have you ever needed to take a break to yourself so you can get yourself together?   1. You’re welcome. Tips I have for dealing with writers block is take a break from your writing & find another hobby that will relax your mind. Let your ideas come to you naturally like when you’re scrolling on social media or even watching tv pay attention to what’s catching your interest and start writing about it. I hope this helps.

  2. I’ve been taking a break for a while, at first it was from social media and now it’s from family and others. It’s getting boring though lol I’m ready to be around people and have experiences again.
