Your Temper Gets the Best of You (Des Blog-a-thon #25)

Now I know everyone has experienced a time where their temper gets the best of them. When you’re angry your mind encourages you to do wild things that you don’t usual do. You even convinced yourself that it is normal for you to do those awful things. We react quickly without thinking when we are under the influence of being angry.

Why do you think our temper gets the best of us? Maybe because we get caught up with what we have discovered or you tricked yourself into believing something is going on when it’s really not. Our mind is a dangerous thing to deal with. That’s why it’s important we get it under control. That’s a tough task though.

In fact, I know that it’s not easy at all. Once you go through a situation that’s upsetting all your positivity flies right out the door. Those negative thoughts invade your mind telling you it’s okay to destroy everything that’s in your way. What do you thing is going to happen next? You’re going to listen to those thoughts and can possibly involve yourself in an activity you’re going to regret. I don’t want you to ruin your life. Take slow deep breaths to calm yourself down.

Listen anger only last for a short while, but making a life changing mistake can stick with you forever. Don’t put yourself in a jail cell for the rest of your life or mess up a good relationship with someone who cares about you. You can search on the internet good techniques to control your temper, go talk to a therapist, or some you trust that will calm you down. We all need help some type of way. I know how it feels to let anger get the best of you.
